Ceramics

Product Design · Material Exploration · Craft · 3D Form & Surface

I have worked with ceramics for nearly seven years, developing a strong foundation in both technical craftsmanship and material-driven design. My practice spans hand-building, wheel throwing, glazing and experimental surface treatments, combining traditional ceramic techniques with contemporary form exploration.

Through long-term engagement with the material, I have developed a deep understanding of clay behavior, structure, surface and finish, and how design decisions translate into functional and durable objects. During my exchange studies at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan, I focused specifically on ceramics, further refining my sensitivity to material, proportion and process. Working in an international and craft-focused environment strengthened my ability to translate conceptual ideas into precise, three-dimensional outcomes.
