SID-IN

The SID-IN exhibition stand was developed during a six-month internship at LUCA Upstairs, as part of my Interior Design exchange semester at LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. The project was carried out in close collaboration with LUCA School of Arts as the client, with the goal of creating a distinctive exhibition stand for university fairs targeting final year high school students.

LUCA needed a stand that would stand out from traditional, corporate university booths and instead reflect the school’s identity as an art and design institution. The stand had to communicate creativity, openness and multidisciplinary thinking while remaining robust, reusable and adaptable to different exhibition contexts and spatial conditions.

Working in a team of four, we were responsible for the entire process — from research, concept development and system design to prototyping, production planning and final on-site assembly. The stand was designed as a modular system that could be reconfigured, scaled and reused across multiple events, allowing LUCA to adapt the layout depending on venue size, flow and program focus.
